Kendra Henson is a twenty-eight year old independent professional black woman fed up and frustrated with the state of her relationships with black men. This is a great story about how many find love in unexpected places. It shows that respect is also very important to a relationship.
As a single black female I can relate....very good read....maybe my prince will come. I wouldn't mind reading more from this author.
This Hot and Quick edition of Things You Can't Tell Mama, was very inviting. It gives some insight into the romantic aspects for single women. I really enjoyed it!
This book was a good quick read. I loved how Kendra met David. David is a man who shows Kendra respect and treats her like a lady should be treated.
If you have read anything from this author there is always some crazy twist. This story however was just nice. It gives the single woman hope for the future.
This short story was a quick, to the point read. It packed in enough details while also getting to the key moments. Kendra was a darling just looking for love to fulfill her life. A choice had to be made but she had two good candidates, one younger than her, one her senior, different in ways but both good men overall. She found love when she least expected.
I've never been big on romance, but I stumbled into reading this one. The story starts off sassy but then it begins to fade into a '90's black, comedy-romance flick. It was okay for me. I was glad this didn't drag on. The ending was nice and tidy. I cannot complain about that.
